Water calms the inner beast in me. I had a PD I had to go to and was early, so I walked two blocks to Ocean Beach and spent some time looking at the waves:
I am so lucky that I have water nearby to calm my soul. Something that I need to remember and use more.
...I could watch the waves all afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThat looks stormy!! About to turn fierce! Thanks for sharing with #Allseasons
ReplyDeleteI am exactly the same way--I think the power and consistency of the waves is so calming. I live pretty far from the beach but had the opportunity to go to the Outer Banks of NC 2 weeks ago and had this same calming response as you did! Thanks for sharing this post with us at the Will Blog for Comments #37 linkup. We hope to see you next time at #38 with more posts to share. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about the ocean waves. It's interesting how even when they are large and intense, with lots of foam, they are nonetheless calming.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I love a stormy ocean!

Hi, Patrick. These waves do look intense. How did they sound? Going to the ocean beach is a vacation for me and we don't go often enough. Thank you for sharing. So glad you were able to enjoy the waves and decompress.
