Views from the Portland Aerial Tram

 The Portland Aerial Tram connects the South Waterfront District with the main Oregon Health and Science University campus. Built in 2006, it is a beautiful short ride:

I am pretty happy that I got to see Portland this way. 

Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament

 

The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament is a religious and civic landmark in Sacramento. It is located near the state capitol and was completed in 1889 and has gone through some renovations over the years with the last completed in 2005. It has been been the site of several funeral masses for former Governors of California:

Outside of the church is a statue of Bishop Alfonso Gallegos who was the Latino Bishop of Sacramento:

The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen.

 I just got done spending a wonderful week in Portland with my daughter and I started thinking about some bands from Portland and this is what I came up with:

Mox Boarding House

 I am in Portland, having a wonderful time visiting with my daughter. I do have many things to share. One of the more interesting things was a dinner we had at a place called Mox Boarding House.

We were going to a soccer match and wanted to eat and had some time. There wasn't much around and the Golden Arches wasn't going to cut it. So we decided to try Mox.

When you walk in, it doesn't look like a restaurant but a store for gamers:

But if you in the back, the restaurant part begins and the food is great:

The Super cool thing is that you can bring your own games in the restaurant part, get your food, drink and gaming on or borrow a game like we did to play after we ate:

My daughter and I played Quoridor:

Mox Boarding House is an interesting and cool place that I enjoyed.
