Music Monday: Just Some Portland Music
I just got done spending a wonderful week in Portland with my daughter and I started thinking about some bands from Portland and this is what I came up with:
Hope you enjoyed this look at some Portland bands.
I don't know any of these bands, but the last Music Monday you have one of my favourtig band - Queen - really great Music! Thanks for visit my Blog and your comment, Greetings from Germany Kirsi
Interesting to learn these bands are from Portland. I began listening to your selections without reading the intro behind your picks. :) "Louie Louie" is a funtastic oldie! Thanks for hitting the dance floor with the 4M gang, my friend. Have a boogietastic day!
I've only been to Portland once, back in 1979 (for the total eclipse of the sun). I knew three of the groups/songs - the Nu Shooz song was quite a 1986-era earworm although I haven't heard it much since. Enjoyed "Overjoyed" (new to me) a lot, too.

I was born and raised in Tillamook, Oregon. Portland isn't that far away from there. I'm glad you had a great visit and love the music.
