Have a great Monday.
Just me and my adventures in life. Life is an adventure and I try to have fun. I love being out in the world, taking pictures and being able to share them with people who come across my little space on the internet. Thanks for stopping by and peace be with you.

Classic Concert Posters
Was at the Berkeley Public Library and got to see some really cool Classic Concert Posters that they had (Sorry if the pics are askew-took them with my phone and some strange angles). I love the artwork from back in the day:

Out With The Old (Candlestick) and In With the New (Levi's Stadium)

| Candlestick Park |
Candlestick Park is history. The final event of the history of the place is scheduled for next Thursday as Paul McCartney will be playing. Candlestick is one of those places that had a bad rep from its beginnings in 1960 until the now. Everything that could go wrong with a place did. The weather, winds and cold drove people away. But the place had a lot of history there:

A Peek At Downtown Hayward
I have lived in Hayward, Ca for most of my life. I was "Made In Hayward" as I went from K through my B.A. in the city. Hayward says it is the "Heart of the Bay" (some old-timers call it the liver) as it is in the middle if you were driving from San Jose to San Francisco. It was a working-class town when I was growing up. It thinks that it more upscale now as it is attracting more and more "techies" but it still has the gritty feel to it:

| One of the many antique stores in town |

And there some other downtown touches:
![]() |
| The Portuguese Park |
![]() |
| Newman Park |
![]() |
| The Children's Memorial Statue. It is dedicated to all the children who have lost their lives to violence |
And murals that are sprouting up:
Hope you enjoyed a small look at the downtown area of the place I have called home for most of my life.
