Petco Park II

Matt Kemp taking a rip
Here is Part II of my visit to Petco Park-Home of the San Diego Padres. Here are things that make it unique place:

The San Diego FOX Sports Crew
Justin Upton taking a rip

Padre pitcher Tyson Ross answering questions
And the food:

San Diego is a big military town and they honor those who are serving and have served:

A replica of the USS MIdway
The memorial for Padres broadcaster Jerry Coleman who passed last year. He was a ballplayer, a Marine (served in WWII and Korea) and a Hall of Fame Voice of the Padres.
The greatest player in the history of the Padres was the great Tony Gwynn who passed last year. His presence is felt all over Petco:

One of Gwynn's Gold Gloves

Petco is a great place. If you get a chance-go and catch a game and walk around.

  2. LUNCH TIME! Ahhhh that looks soooo good!!! What great pics. My grandson would love this place! He loves baseball so much. I know he was named after some baseball player, but I'll be darn if I can remember who. His first name is Ryan, and it was back in 1989 I believe. Hmmm Well anyway thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend. See ya Monday. Did you see the theme? It's songs about cars or mentions a particular type of car and/or truck. That should be fun!!!! :)
