Reno River Walk

People consider Downtown Reno a little scuzzy but if you go a couple of blocks away, you run right into the riverwalk. The Truckee River runs right through Reno and they have done a great job in restoring into a beautiful place to hang out and enjoy the day:

The Downtown Reno Riverwalk is a great thing to do and does give picture postcard moments.:

  9. It's neat when cities revitalize the downtown areas that get run down and bring them back. Great shots!

  10. I love when a town has a river walk way!! I recently explored one in a neighbouring town of ours. It's so lovely to be near the water and just enjoy something simple and refreshing as taking in the beauty of nature. This is such a lovely view with the water, and then mountains in the background.

  11. In the Philippines I live near a river and I do always have a walk using the breakwater as my path. Its not as pretty as this one but this reminds me of it. Its always calming to walk near a river as the sound of the water soothes!

    Thanks for linking up.

  16. It looks really picturesque actually. Like you say, it might just be the case of walking a few minute away with quite a few places that are seen to be undesirable.
