There's nothing like water - a river, the ocean, even a driving rainstorm - to sooth the soul!

I agree with Sue: there is nothing like water to sooth the soul!
ReplyDeleteVery peaceful indeed. It must be wonderful to live so close to the bay.
ReplyDeleteLove the water over the rocks.

I wish I lived by water. It's so peaceful!
ReplyDeleteThere's just something so calming about watching and hearing the tide rolling in and out. I wish I lived closer to the ocean. But whenever I go on vacation, that's always my favorite place spend some time. Thanks for sharing your photos and thoughts, Patrick!
ReplyDeleteI feel calmer just having looked at these. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a less hectic week, Patrick! Take care and God bless!
ReplyDeleteWater has the same effect on me.

always love to watch the water..be it a river, ocean, lake or anything similar. It's peaceful
ReplyDeleteI love it by the ocean. It always heals my woes, and I am not sure why I don't go there more. I need to X
ReplyDeleteSo calming isn't it!
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely where I go when I am seeking a little peace and calm. Although your water may not be exactly "calm" -- but it sure looks peaceful. I don't have ocean waves, but it's still a lovely spot.
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful and peaceful!

Patrick, I love the sound of the water breaking against the rocks or shore line. I remember in 1989 when we stayed in Boothbay Harbor Maine for our 10th wedding anniversary. The hotel we stayed in built the rooms right over the harbor and I could hear the water underneath us each night lulling me quickly to sleep. I loved it! I certainly understand why you like going to sit by the bay to let the waves wash away your cares. Thanks for linking and sharing. I'm sorry for the late return visit. It's just been too crazy around here and my blog break has been anything other than restful. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes that's all you need is time to think and ponder
