It has been nice around these parts, so I decided a visit a place that I used to walk all the time and that is the San Leandro Marina. When I lived near it, I loved it. I have a lot of happy, warm peaceful memories of it:
Just a nice peaceful place to be:

The bay on a sunny day is nice and a good way to relax. I remember a number of little marinas that dot the bay such as the ones in Palo Alto and Redwood City.

ReplyDeleteI love how shimmery the water is. So pretty! I live in Nebraska. Only rivers, grassland, no ocean, or mountains.
ReplyDeleteI love sitting next to the water and hearing the waves lap the shore, Patrick. I bet this was and is a place that provided that relaxation and calmness to your heart. Thanks for sharing your many journeys! Always a treat to visit, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThis is really what I need right now! Some peace... My numbers has catapulted downward this morning. I cannot believe it. They’re over 100 lower of people who have stopped by. I’m so sad I cannot believe it. I’m on here all the time and this happens. I was up there and now I’m in the 300’s 🙁 NOBODY LOVES ME!!!! sniff-sniff…. I need to figure out something to make my blog more interesting… any suggestions my friend???

ReplyDeletePatrick, I have a good friend who lives in San Leandro. We met through penpalling many years ago and although we don't stay in regular contact, we do send an annual newsletter at Christmas. :) Thanks for sharing the views from this area and for dropping by for a look at the letter “D” (dogs) in my A2Z series, Art Sketching through the Alphabet and joining my WW linky party! Have a good day, my friend!

It is indeed such a peaceful place. A stroll there would definitely be calming. Just you and mother nature. The sound of the water flowing, the wind breeze all the natural sound are definitely calming. We do need a break from our routine once in a while. Be it just a stroll or even a vacation. You do the strolling so now you need the vacation! It is spring, the best time to have fun in the sun, be ready for more fun in the summer! I know a place where you can still having fun while having the peaceful vibe. Bali, that's where you should go. Come visit, we'll provide you the best accommodation and please do check our website out. Thank you.
