For over 200 years, the Presidio in San Francisco served as an Army base for three nations. It closed down as an Army base in 1994. They recently turned part of the Officer's Club into a small museum:
Philippine Service Medal |
19th century rifle |
Early 20th Century Calvary Cover |
18th century Spanish Army uniform |
WWII Army Officer Uniform |
WWII Army Nurse's Corp Uniform |
Welcome Home Badge given to those who fought in the Philippine-American War of 1899 |
Bugles used by the Army |
What great artifacts!
