Original Artwork from First Second Books Publishing

If you know me, you know I like graphic novels. The San Francisco Public Library has an exhibition going on about First Second Books Publishing. First Second Books was launched in 2006 and has become the home of great graphic novels from all over the world. This exhibit features original artwork from San Francisco Bay Area creators whose novels have been published by First Second Books:

Thien Pham- "Sumo"
Lisa Brown- "Siamese Twins
Ian Lendler-"Little Sid"
Rosemary Valero-O'Connell-"Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me"
Nidhi Chanani-"Pashmina"
Jason Shiga-"Demon"
Amir Soltani/Khalil Benbid-Zahra's Paradise
Gene Luen Yang-"American Born Chinese"
It was really cool to see the art from these amazing artists/writers from their graphic novels and the San Francisco Public Library did a great job in this exhibit.

  7. Looks like a great exhibition. not having any talent for drawing or painting makes me admire even more those who do. Thank you for joining The Really Crafty Link Party this week!
