I will admit, I cheated on the Shelter-In-Place and went for a long walk at the San Francisco Marina. Actually I had to go to my work's home office buidling for something and then I cheated and took the walk. I had all my protection on and there was really no one there which was nice. It was something that was needed for me:
And I even got to see a Rolex:
Hope everyone is safe and healthy.
Nice to meet you on the challenge Our World...
ReplyDelete...thank you for sharing. I'm going to San Francisco, I love the Song of Scott McKenzie.
Stay healthy.
I love the SF marina. Its nice to get away from the bustling Fisherman's Wharf and other busy parts of the boardwalk for a bit and just enjoy the wildlife! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of a place I love.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great walk! Thank you for sharing. I miss SF!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! We have been trying to get out most days for a walk/hike; that fresh air and sunshine are really helping my sanity.
ReplyDeleteWe are allowed to go outside for exercise, so you didn't cheat.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
Well, since you got such great images, we can let your extra time out slide! Love the captures. The Rolex made me smile :)
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see you at 'My Corner of the World' this week!
Your secret is safe with us...and the images are, as always, worth the extra sneak out. #MLSTL
ReplyDeleteI wish I had Shelter in Place at all. I live in the Republican Omaha, Nebraska. They were opening a shopping mall during the flipping pandemic.
ReplyDeleteYou got some really nice shots. I can see why you went out. Sometimes you just need that!
Just what we need Patrick to bring a smile to our faces - nature! Thanks for the great photos and sharing at #MLSTL
ReplyDeleteYou always have such a good eye for a great pic my friend. The new birth of the ducklings is oh so sweet, and one thing why is there rocks in that tree? That one I surely don't get. Thank you so much for sharing. I would've taken the walk too! hahaha Be healthy, Be safe and stay happy! hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Patrick - I totally get the need to find some sunshine, fresh air and open space during lockdown. Every morning when I head out for my walk I relish my time outside. Lovely pictures and I'm glad you found it so quiet and uncrowded.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with us at MLSTL and I've shared on my SM 😊
Beautiful photos, thanks for the tour always interesting :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a safetastic week 😷😷😷
There are so many beautiful places there in San Francisco - it's one of my favorite places to visit. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGlad you went for a walk Patrick. SF is one of my favourite cities to visit. Love the Canada geese ducklings. #MLSTL
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool Rolex clock.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't sound as if you were cheating. I had to go to the grocery store this morning at Old Farts Shopping Hour and there are still people not wearing masks and coming well within six feet of you, so I appreciate people like yourself who try to social distance.
I didn't realize you still had those kind of restrictions. I'm glad you did get out and really like your photos, especially how well you captured the waves.
When I lived in California I loved visiting San Francisco. We used to fly our airplane to Oakland and take the BART into town. - Margy
ReplyDeleteWe are allowed out to exercise and I must admit that my walking distance from home has increased.
ReplyDeleteLiked re-visiting SFO via your post. Thanks for sharing it at #MLSTL. I will pin this to my travel board. Stay safe, be well, and I encourage you to walk as much as you can. It's so good for mind, body, and spirit!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to San Francisco in years. Beautiful photos at the marina. Pinning.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely walk along the marina!
ReplyDeleteI miss being out and exploring, so I will enjoy it vicariously through your photos.
Stay safe!
I'm enjoying you fascinating lockdown walk, Patrick.
ReplyDeleteThe Rolex is a high point I guess. Ha! Ha!
Stay safe and wonderful. :)

OK, now I REALLY need to go back to San Fran. We always fly into LA when we head to the US, but I NEED some San Fran in my life again. It's been 20 years since our last visit to your beautiful city
