Levi's Plaza Park

I was walking on the Embarcadero from the Ferry Building to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco instead of taking the bus and I saw this little opening to a park. I had seen it before from the bus or from a car but this time I went in and had an amazing experience:

And I must give some props to the corporate sponsor of the park and show the view:

Levi's Plaza Park is a great oasis in the middle of a busy city.

  7. I love Levi's Plaza park! I would walk down the Embarcadero and sit there for a while - the lawns, the stones, and the water. Then it would be time to ascend one of the staircases up Telegraph Hill.

Hope you have a great week.

  12. Such parks in the middle of an urban city are indeed an oasis. A walk and some quiet time spent in it can be very therapeutic.

  13. What a lovely park and it's always such a weird dichotomy to see greenery and beauty in the midst of a city. I realise I never appreciate those parks enough.

  18. Now, I too have walked on the Embarcadero from the Ferry Building to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco and I never found that gorgeous little gem! Mind you, my walk was 20 years ago ... but still. What a lovely spot!
