My little city of Hayward hosted their first ever Juneteenth Freedom Celebration at City Hall.

It was the first one so it was small but the cool thing is that it will grow over the years and it will be cool to see it grow and become a big deal over the years.
I bet it was great to visit. I agree it needs time to grow.

Very cool, Patrick! I haven't seen very much on Juneteenth celebrations this year. I feel like they enacted it too close to the date so there wasn't much time for planning events. Next year should have many more. It'll be fun to see!
