Twilight at Ocean Beach

The middle school I teach at is about 2 miles from Ocean Beach. Sadly, I don't really go there after the school day is a lot since I am headed the other way. Recently, I decided to go there and take some pics as the sun was setting.

It was my first attempt at talking pics of the ocean and everything as the sun was setting:

It was so nice and peaceful. Something that I need to do more of.

  1. Lovely views of the beach! I miss it so much, here in the middle of TX (I used to live an hour from the beach in California)

  2. Delicate colors and such soft & pretty light. :)
We should all go and catch the sunset more often. :)

  4. I love to get out to the Outer Sunset and see the streets leading down to the ocean. (I was just there a couple of weeks ago.)

Hope you have a great week!

  6. I've not been there in such a long time. It's beautiful. If the Cliff House will reopen I would love to have lunch there. What wonderful memories.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

  10. I love the ocean at different times of the day, and the mood can change so much in one day. I'm glad you took the time to enjoy it. Wishing you a lovely Thanksgiving. We're going to keep ours super low-key, meaning I won't cook anything special, but we will note the day. Blessings, Tina

  12. Very nice, seeing the orange of the sky and the ever changing waves. As someone living near the East Coast, who has only experienced the Pacific Ocean a couple of times, the concept of sunset over an ocean is a bit different. This only adds to the enjoyment.
