Walking Stow Lake
I decided to take a walk around Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park last week. It was a perfect day for a nice, brisk walk:
There was a lot of waterfowl out:
It was a great walk and I am glad that the weather broke to do it.
Lovely photos. Love the reflections in the water. Thank you for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2025/01/a-distant-view-of-cassiebawn-castle.html
A beautiful location. I'm thinking (not that I'm a birder but my spouse is) that many of the waterfowl are American Coots overwintering where you live. First I've ever seen them, if so.
This looks like a wonderful place to spend some time. I enjoyed the pictures very much. Thank you for sharing with us at the Crazy Little Lovebirds link party #71. I hope you will join us for the next party.
Thank you for sharing these lovely photographs, Patrick! I have driven through Golden Gate Park but never visited it properly so I really enjoyed them.
