Music Monday: Childhood Movie Songs

Music Monday: We are going to try some Movie Songs from my childhood. Normally, this would be easy because when I was a teenager there were great movie songs but I am challenging myself as I am limiting myself to before I was in eighth grade:

From The Muppet Movie:

From Thank God It's Friday:

From For Your Eyes Only:

From Flashdance:

From 9 to 5:

And the big one I still listen to, From Raiders of the Lost Ark:

Hope you enjoy and Have a wonderful Monday.

  2. You listed some really good songs/movie themes. Most live on as stand-alone songs.

  3. Nice choices. I loved the movie Flashdance and had some sweatshirts like hers and the leg warmers.

  4. The fun part of this theme is listening to what each of us remembers. And Indiana Jones - that was such a run memory. Listening to its theme (and all the disco, which I LOVE) brings me back to a good time in my life, too! Nicely done.

  5. Patrick,

Oh WOW, what a great set of movie theme songs! Raiders of the Lost Ark definitely tops the bunch here but I do love "For Your Eyes Only"! Thanks for sharing with the 4M gang!

  7. Hi Patrick,
I think my favorite here is either Flashdance or 9 to 5. I guess I'd pick 9-5 over the other.
I do like that Donna Summer song.
And who can pass up a Muppets movie?!
    Great picks here.
Hope you're having a good weekend...
