Kraken Con 2018
Being sort of a nerd, I went to Kraken Con in Oakland. Kraken Con is an anime, comic, cartoon and cosplay convention. It was a pretty interesting and fun time:
The best thing about Kraken Con is the Cosplay part. I love how people are so creative when they dress up:
Kraken Con is nothing but fun. It was a fun time that was had by all.

I think cosplay is fascinating, I know a few people who do it and I love the dedication to the creation of the costumes! Thank you for sharing this with us at #TriumphantTales. I hope to see you back next week.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Did you end up dressing up? I've never been to a con before, but a lot of my students go.
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and quirky thing to do. It must have been so much fun! #MLSTL
ReplyDeleteWhat didn't you dress up my friend? ~hehehe~ Great pics... thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like fun. Thank you for sharing at The Really Crafty Link Party this week.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Kraken Con Patrick - but I do love seeing people dressed in cosplay outfits - there are some very confident young women in those photos!
ReplyDeleteMLSTL and I've shared on my SM :)
Hi, Patrick - I agree that we all need a bit more fun in our lives. Thank you for this very important reminder!

Patrick,
ReplyDeleteI never heard of Kraken Co before now. I guess I'm not a nerd, huh? lol Thanks for sharing such fun with us and for linking up today, dear friend!
That looks so awesome! I love all the costumes :)
ReplyDeleteI've never been to one of these. It sure looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. 😎
I have always been fascinated by the photos from these and someday I will go.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!!

I loved superhero comics while growing up. Cosplay wasn't a thing - if I was more into design and sewing I'd love to go to one of these conventions. Perhaps I would dress as Cold Girl, a superhero I created for the entertainment of myself and an elementary school friend.
ReplyDeleteYou have such fun places to explore. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun. Thanks for sharing! #MLSTL
ReplyDeleteVery cool, I didn't know that was happening across the bay.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing it and for stopping by our WW this week 😺
I love how you always take us somewhere interesting - and often that I've never heard of! This is no exception...thank you.
ReplyDeleteI have a son that would love to go to this! I had no idea there was such a thing. Thanks for showing us! :-) #TeamLovinLife
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how big conventions are becoming - even here in Oz nowadays and we have a comic-con type event in our capital cities as well as other locations but also smaller versions.
ReplyDeleteI've actually never heard of the Kraken!
My son Shivam would have loved this. He recently went to EGX, the gaming event and now has become a fan of conventions! #GlobalBlogging
ReplyDeleteDid you dress up? I know a few people who are into cosplay and would love this convention. I'm not one of them - but I really should go to one just to absorb the vibe. #teamlovinlife
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really fun time!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2018/10/master-potter.html
I better not let Princess Nagger see these pics, she'll be mad that we didn't drive down to CA to go to that! :) Thanks for letting us (and by us, I mean me) live vicariously through you! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh I would totally get all the things in there!
