A Summer Dinner and Then a Walk in The Park

When I visited my daughter in Portland, we went for dinner and a walk in the park near her house. It was really cool.

First up was dinner at a place called Portland Sports Bar and Grill and it was outstanding:

And South Waterfront Park is right there, so we walked it:

And what is really cool are these sayings that are embedded in the concrete as you are walking done by school children:

It was just a really nice and peaceful time.

  11. A great walk with lots to see. Love the Poet's walk. We have a Poet's Bridge in a nearby park--but it was built with money won on a bet on a horse named 'The Poet' :)

Thanks for sharing your link at My Corner of the World this week!
