Ai Weiwei-Everyday Monuments
I was at the Haines Fort Mason Gallery and they had exhibit by the famed Chinese artist Ai Weiwei:
Wow! The digitality of AWW! Now that I have found the presence of mind NOT to speak in exclamation marks: I went to see Weiwei and Warhol at a gallery in 2016 and the way that their works informed and interacted with one another. I am loving all the Weiwei animals. And I remember too that he said "Poetry makes nothing happen". *** Enjoying the boar; the rabbit; the snake; the tiger and the dog, Wes.
I've not heard of the artist but his work is extraordinary.
