Happy Lunar New Year

 


I am a couple of days early (as Lunar New Year is the 22nd) but I wanted to be first to wish everyone a wonderful Year of the Rabbit. 

I went to the Chinese Flower Fair in San Francisco's Chinatown. The fair is held the week before the Lunar New Year so that families can purchase their holiday plants, flowers and fruits. It is fun, festive time:








And I had to walk around Chinatown:






And make a visit to the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Company:


And got to see the artwork at the new Rose Pak Central Subway Station:



And I hope all your dream come true in the Year of the Rabbit:



And I love this message of hope:

  2. I've seen parts of a Chinese festival once but I think they happen more in the bigger cities.
