Music Monday: One-Hit Wonders of the 90's
Music Monday: Just some one-hit wonders from the 1990's:
I am not a fan of 1990's music in general, so I immediately wondered if I knew any of the songs. I knew all but the first one. I especially love Tubthumping and What is Love. Tubthumping was so popular when my son was in 4th grade that at his graduation (in his school district, middle school started, at the time, in 5th grade) they played it and I wondered if anyone had ever listened to all the lyrics. It's a drinking song, folks! And a great one, may I add. I still laugh about that.
The 90s were a blur for the most part as a mommy of three small ones. I'm actually surprised I knew most of your - Mambo #5, Tubthumping, What's Love, and I'm Too Sexy. The other two went unnoticed. Thanks for coming to the 4M party. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!

Oh man...love these songs even the first and last one. The last one is such a joke but fun. Love Mambo #5 but I've seen him in commercials singing this song for laundry detergent. Kind of sad. I thought the 2nd last one came out in the 80s. I always think of SNL and those dumbnuts moving their head to this song. They made a movie too.

ReplyDeleteOh yes!! One of the Peloton instructors does a ride with only one hit wonders from time to time and these have made the play list!
