The Eugene Friend Carousel


Besides being a world-class zoo, the San Francisco Zoo also boosts one of the 140 classic carousels in the country to ride-The Eugene Friend Carousel. The Friend Carousel was built in by Dentzel/Illions Carousel 1921 and has been at the S.F. Zoo since 1925, it was restored in 2000:








The classic carousels in my view are a nice bit of Americana to enjoy.
