The Walt Disney Family Museum

I went to the Walt Disney Family Museum and really enjoyed it. It is museum about Walt and how he built his company. The artifacts in the museum end with his death in 1966:

Some of his Oscars, they have every one on display
One of the Alice comedies. His first successful film series.
One of his drawings-ca. 1917-1918
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit promo poster

Steamboat Willie animation drawing-1928
Earliest know drawing of Mickey Mouse - 1928

Birds of a feather artwork
Snow White Story Sketch
Mickey Mouse's from the 1930's
Jiminy Cricket character model statue -1940
WWII promo poster
1955 autopica car from Disneyland
The original concept for the Fantasyland Castle-1955
Epcot concept art
Original story sketch from Mart Poppins (1964)
The Walt Disney family museum is a great place to see how Disney built is company.

  7. We just got back from Disney World and they had a little museum about Walt Disney at one of the parks. It was really interesting. I could have spent hours in there if I would have had more time. I love the Mickey sketches you've shared!
