Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception of San Diego

When I was in San Diego, I saw a church in the old town section. It was a small but beautiful church:

San Diego's The Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception might a small church near a tourist trap but it a very beautiful one.

  4. Very nice church... a good mix of pre- and post-Vatican II styles.

  6. I'm enraptured by old churches at the moment - couldn't resist going into them in France. I especially love the photo in the centre with the cross and the blue-washed back wall with cherubs. Gorgeous. #TeamLovinLife

  8. Beautiful pics. As a Catholic, I love visiting different Catholic Church's during my travels. My absolute favorite is St. Severin in Paris. When my husband and I visit Paris (to see his family--he's a Parisien) St. Severin is where I attend Sunday Mass. The church is so old and smells so musty and the cantor has the most beautiful voice. I also love to follow the Mass in French because it helps me with the language. And yes--I love St. Severin far more than Notre Dame or St. Sulice. It's just a very charming and calming place to be and to reflect!

  9. Gorgeous. I've not been to San Diego. I've done much of the US but never been down that way. One day.
