The Kezar Pub

One of my favorite places to eat and hang out is the Kezar Pub in San Francisco. It is located in the Haight and across the street from old Kezar Stadium which was the home of the 49ers until 1970. It still one of the best places to eat, drink and hang out and watch a game:

Inside the dining area
Inside the pub
It is a great place to catch the English Premier League
Loved this barrel
One thing I love about is that it is a great place to look at 49er history with pictures. autographs and old programs on the wall:

The 49ers were in the AAFC before the NFL and here is a program from that era

Another AAFC program

Legendary 49er QB John Brodie(left) with HOFer Hugh Mcelhenny
An autographed pic of the "Million Dollar Backfield"from left to right: Y.A. Title, Joe Perry, Hugh Mcelhenny and John Henry Johnson. All are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame

A program from the early NFL days

Kezar Stadium used to the epic-center of Bay Area college football back in the day. Here is a program from that era.
Besides being a great place to view history, Kezar has some great food. It is mostly sandwiches, burgers, nachos, pork chops and etc:

One of their tasty cheeseburgers and fries
Got to love their BBQ pork sandwich
The Kezar Pub is one of the best pubs around. It is a great place to relax, have a pop, watch a game and some good food.
