A Short Stroll at Stanford

It is considered one of America's leading universities and it is near my house.  The funny thing is that I usually go to Cal for events. Cal is about 45 minutes away from my house in Berkeley and Stanford is about 30 minutes away in Palo Alto.  Of course, Cal is a public school and Stanford is private. Anyway, I went over to Stanford and walked around and it is a beautiful campus. It is a nice place to just walk around  (Sorry if I didn't get all the names of the buildings- I forgot my blog notebook):

It was a beautiful walk and I totally enjoyed it. Stanford is a beautiful place to stroll.

  2. I remember seeing some of it when we were in California after Dad died and Mom was considering moving us there. The father of the family we stayed with was out there on sabbatical. Be nice to go back sometime.

  4. Thank you for the tour. I've always wanted to see it. But I suppose now I have to wait until after the covid-19 has cleared up.

  6. Well there's certainly a lot of diversity in the artwork on display Patrick - I wouldn't have expected to see a lot of it at a private university - but nice they celebrate diversity.
Thanks for linking up with us at MLSTL and I've shared on my SM 😊

  10. The Stanford campus is gorgeous. I especially like it in the warmer months. I used to find myself at The Knoll (CCRMA, the music-technology center) quite often.
