Chihuly Gardens and Glass

Chihuly Garden and Glass was a huge surprise for me. It is located in the Seattle Center next to the Space Needle and it features the work of Dale Chihuly. Simply put, he is one of masters of glass art and has been for forty years. His work has been featured in museums and exhibits all over the world:

Glass Forest
Part of the Cylinders Series
Close up of the Basket Series
The 15-ft high Sealife Tower
One of the Sealife Vessels
One of the bigger exhibits was called Mille Fiori. This took up a whole room and the detail on this was super:

The whole Mille Fiori
Some of the Detail
More Detail
Now back to the rest:

Ikebana Boat
Nijina Floats
Part of the Macchia Forest

Chandelrers walkway
And the outside (No titles):

Chihuly Gardens and Glass was an amazing place. Dale Chihuly is a true master of glass art and I was truly lucky to see his work.
