Just Out and About

Just some pics from being out and about in this wide world that we live in. The first stop is some public art that I saw in the open air mall at South Shore Center in Alameda:

And I found two more of giant "Hearts and Heroes" that I love so much:

And I got to see the new displays that are out at Lucas Film in the Presidio in San Francisco:

And there is always street art to see and other public art:

And street musicians:

and my solar eclipse pic:

But even though I love to take pics and share them with people, I must remember the words below and try to live by them:

  1. Nice variety! The musicians make me want to sit down and enjoy their music. Nice eclipse shot, too!

  4. That Darth Vader looks too skinny, I want to make him some hearty soup. The seals weren't at the mall were they? The first street musician is playing a very cool looking string instrument and is really into it.

  11. Love all of the sculptures! I wish I could hear the music from the street musicians. Were all of these shots taken the same day?

  13. There's so many beautiful art pieces in the cities like San Fran and others. I'm so glad you give us a tour of the sites you visit, Patrick. And I love, love, love those seals! How much fun would that be to just sit and watch them lay in the sun or do other "sealy" kinds of things?! ha! Thanks so much, my friend!

  24. That group of seals is so wonderful. I love how communal and chillaxed they all are. Nothing to bother them, save and sunning. It looks like you were able to get very close. What a thrill. The rest of your post is great as well, but the seals stole the post for me. Have a great week.
