The Bay Area Book Festival 2019

I headed out the the street of Berkeley to check out the Bay Area Book Festival. There wasn't a lot of big names there but a lot of cool local authors and lots of books:

Author G. Eb Williams and her book Simplifyism

Promoting the German-American Friendship

Chef Kwame Onwuachi talking about his book "Notes From A Young Black Chef"

Betty Thomas Patterson and her  book "What's College About Anyway"

Author Russ Towne and his books

Jon James Miller and his book "Looking for Garbo"
And the authors of the two book I bought (actually the first one I pre-ordered because it is not out yet):

Comedian Nina G and her soon to be released book "Stutterer Interrrupted". Looking forward to this book because I am somewhat of a Stutterer. Have been all of my life.

Rochelle Riley signing her book "The Burden: African Americans and the Enduring Impact of Slavery"
The Bay Area Book Festival was a great time and it was really neat to see all the different books and authors there.

  1. What a fun event. I have come to know several authors who are not big sellers but are still great people.

  3. Thanks for highlighting some wonderful writers who we might not otherwise have heard about. . .I often wonder what makes one person be singled out and a 'best selling' author while others produce wonderful things and are overlooked by the massive media machine.
