Music Monday: Some Old School Hip Hop
Music Monday: Just playing some old school Hip Hop:
Tried to keep clean and I hope you dance away and enjoy the old school Hip-Hop.
Wow!!! Talk hip-hop all the way! I could feel it in my bones. I personally like the old hip-hop! Personally I want to say it was just beautiful. Well done! I was hippin' & a hoppin' in my seat! Thank you, I really needed to get that old school hip-hop in my bones!
Thanks for hitting the 4M dance floor with us this week. I can't say this is my favorite but it's certainly interesting and I appreciate the introduction to most of these songs that I wouldn't otherwise listen to. Run-DMC is the only artist I knew by name. Don't they have a funny Christmas song? Have a boogietastic week!
I grew up just a few miles from where rap originated, in the South Bronx. I've written a couple of blog posts on it (not for Music Moves Me) perhaps it's time for me to revisit one. The Message was a great song in so many ways. "King of Rock" is another good song in its own way. Maybe I'll do a rap post one of these days.
Not my favorite genre, but a good playlist nonetheless!
ReplyDeleteLove me some Naughty By Nature!!!! NICE!!! Have a great day Patrick!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices for 'old school', Patrick! :) Thanks for the dance! :)

ReplyDeleteYou're songs made my day. "The Message" was the first rap song. We still have it on 12". All winners and worth bookmarking.
